There are many villages about 20 kilometers around Rovaniemi city, so you need to drive a bit slower. Parking in Helsinki city center is not very convenient. Other places have fewer people and cars, so I recommend taking different routes to see the beautiful forests and lakes.
In Helsinki, if you have time, you can take a ferry to Tallinn in Estonia.
