It’s Croatia’s best-known national park, listed on the UNESCO List of World Heritage sites. The national park is renowned for the brilliantly colored cascading lakes featuring a variety of shades of blues, greens, and grey. There is a total of 16 different lakes all connected together with the river system that flows through the park.

Transportation: Driving to Plitvice Lakes National Park is the most convenient travel option. It’s only 2 hours away from Zagreb, Head south-west on the E65 toll highway and exit at Karlovac from where you can take the D1 Road to Plitvice Lakes National Park.
