It took almost over an hour to get the car because such vehicles are rented less frequently and are kept in the main lot. Also, QEEQ's data is not prioritized by HERTZ, so the reserved vehicle was not transferred to the rental counter area.
When picking up the car, the clerk informed me that the reserved Jetta was not available and recommended an upgrade with additional insurance, asking for an extra payment of over $380. I refused immediately. What's more interesting, when I went to pick up the car, it turned out to be a Suzuki hatchback. Furious, I went back to negotiate, and they finally gave me a Corolla.
The pickup and drop-off were both very quick. I left a jacket on the back seat when I returned the car, but they found it the same day and arranged to send it back to me.
