The staff did not explain the documents and vouchers that required our signatures. When we asked about the purpose of the credit card charge, they told us it was a vehicle deposit. Later, we discovered they had charged us for insurance without informing us, even though we had already purchased insurance domestically. They forced us to sign for additional insurance without our knowledge. Before returning the car, we called the store to extend the rental by 2 days, agreeing to pay an extra 100 euros. However, they later charged us over 270 euros. Despite the fuel tank being half empty, they charged us for a full tank. Throughout our inquiries, the rental company made numerous charges, causing significant confusion and loss. After a month of back-and-forth communication, we still haven't received a final response or the promised refund. We are extremely disappointed!

Personnel au guichet horrible pas de sourire voulant à n’importe quel prix de vous vendre des options. La dame a changé deux fois mon véhicule pour enfin me donner autre voiture que celle réservée ( manuelle au lieu d’automatique) La Jeune fille blonde aux yeux bleus limite RACISTE me faisant illusion au vol de voiture .... Plus jamais europcar est le message est à diffuser au plus grand nombre.....

Un 1er véhicule m’a été proposé, une Peugeot 208 rouge qui avait de grosses rayures enfoncées. La voiture sentait la cigarette à l’intérieur. J’ai demandé à avoir un autre véhicule et ils m’ont donné une Audi Q2 grise en très bon état, qui a été parfaite pour mes 5 jours de location. Le retour a été très rapide.

The blue tooth was a nightmare. Glad it wasn’t raining. Tried to contact Liigu about this, no reply. No contact now and dropped car off 3 days ago. Should have received all ok message. Not aware you held my deposit for 2 months, not clear on booking

Liigu are charging me €345 for a chipped windscreen. This absolutely did not occur whilst we had the car. The ridiculous expectation is that the customer should photograph every angle/panel/glass on the car to prove their innocence. I have zero-excess insurance, but it’s the principle of withholding the huge excess payment for extortion/stealing it if you don’t provide photographic evidence. Utterly disgusting company I will never deal with again.

I felt deceived. I booked a BMW 3 Series, but when picking up the car, I was informed it was unavailable. They offered me a compact Nissan SUV instead, claiming it was larger than the BMW and there would be no additional charge. The Nissan was too old, so I negotiated to get a Golf, which looked acceptable on the outside but had 110,000 km mileage and a dirty interior. There were strange noises from the steering and brakes, and the car would noticeably shake at speeds over 130 km/h. They charged a high deposit of 2500 euros, and I was worried I wouldn't get it back. The only good part was the quick and smooth return process for the deposit. I won't be tempted by their cheap prices again; you get what you pay for.

We had to wait quite a long time and several phone calls to get picked up at the airport and be taken to the Sicily By Car office to collect the vehicle. Also the satnav directions to get back to their office and drop off the vehicle, using the Company's postcode, took us on a very circuitous, county route.

All the staff at Alamo as very professionnal, no pressure for buy extra assurance or un grade the vehicule. My best experience for Rent a car. Les employés étaient vraiment très professionnels et courtois. Pas de vente à pression et les agents étaient sympathiques, courtois. J’ai loué plusieurs véhicules à l’avenir ça sera chez Alamo. Generally very good. The service is friendly and efficient at the Lyon Airport Alamo/Enterprise. Only issue was the car had no window screen washer which wasn't ideal for driving on the autoroute.

Car was great. Due to heavy traffic on our return we did not have time to fill up the tank. Interrent charged €18 for the fuel which is acceptable then a further €50 penalty for not returning the vehicle full. Very angry at this unreasonably high penalty. I will not use them again.

Il y avait 2 personnes devant nous pour récupérer la voiture. A réception, nous avons constaté des rayures supplémentaires à celles indiquées sur le document, mais le personnel n'avait pas le temps de venir vérifier étant donné qu'il y avait encore 4 personnes après nous. Ils nous ont dit de prendre des photos, et heureusement, car sinon les rayures nous auraient été attribuées. Il faudrait plus de personnel pour prendre plus de temps avec le client.

The provided vehicle had three of the five front wheel bolts missing, which is shocking! The car started shaking on the road because the wheel was about to fall off. Passengers could only discover the cause by leaning out the backseat window. We were driving on an elevated road, and leaning out or a falling wheel could have resulted in fatal consequences. We had to stop on the emergency lane. However, Avis's assistance line, which claims to be available from 7 AM to 12 AM, did not answer after three long waits. In the end, we had no choice but to call the police, and a tow truck dragged the car to a temporary towing company, which also kept us waiting for half an hour. The entire experience was zero stars. Avis had promised a refund because of this incident, but it has been 20 days with no news.

The agent's English was poor and he kept pushing additional insurance. I had to ask my French friend to speak with him in French over the phone to resolve it. Bad service! The car I got was a Toyota Avensis (station wagon), but I couldn't find it in the options so I selected 'Toyota Corolla' instead.
