Pick-up Instructions

Green Motion Edinburgh Airport is located within the Secure Airparks Car Park and offers a complimentary shuttle service via their bus service. After collecting your luggage exit the airport and please proceed to the coach park, which is next to the multi storey car park and opposite the Tram Station. Please follow signs to the Tram Station and proceed towards the covered walk way. Once in the covered walk way area, go towards the pedestrian crossing and when safe to do so, please cross over to the coach park and wait at coach park stand 10. Advise the driver you are a Green Motion Customer. Once you arrive at Secure Airparks Car Park, please exit at Bus Stop 2 - you will see Green Motion Vehicle Rental located next to this stop. The shuttle bus runs approximately every 10 minutes (24 hours a day) with a journey time 3 minutes, even if your flight is late at night. https://goo.gl/fbFtVu

The rental fee is indeed not high. However, there are many hidden costs, such as an extra charge if you drive more than 90 miles per day; the insurance is very expensive, costing £40 per day. Additionally, the road conditions on the way to the Scottish Highlands were not great; the tires and rims got slightly damaged along the way, but it didn't affect driving at all. The tires were Hankook 16-inch tires. When returning the car, I was told that the tires needed to be replaced and the rims needed to be repaired, and I had to compensate £466. This is simply outrageous, the hidden costs here are too much. I will never rent from them again.
