Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

Vehicles are not allowed to be brought to the Canary Islands. If you plan to cross borders to other countries, EMS service is mandatory to add, priced at around 12EUR per day and maximum 156EUR. Please consult the staff at the counter for details.

You may drive the rented vehicle outside the Spanish mainland and in the countries described below once the EMS is added and must be done upon pick up. EMS PRICE: 12€ + VAT per day of rental and up to 156€ + VAT for the whole rental period. The vehicle cannot be taken from Mainland Spain to Island of Formentera.

vehicle was not provided, need to take lower category, on top for expebsive insurance, insteqd of 413eur, they blocked 513eur, because of spending about 2 hours to solve the situation and with small kids I had no choice to accept thia situation..
