Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

For all cross-border travel, it is mandatory that you have Roadside Protection (RAP) included/purchased on your rental. For more information regarding RAP, please see refer to the Roadside Protection policy. In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and require written authorization. Unauthorized cross border travels will result in a breach of contract and incur in a penalty charge of 10,000 NOK.
