The Europcar Agency is located in the “Hall Pasteur” of the Montparnasse railway station. Once your contract has been completed, you will find your vehicle in the “Gaité” car park, level -4.

Drivers will be subject to cross border fees and must purchase additional mandatory insurance at the rental desk. Please contact the local rental desk for further information. Abroad (rented in France and travel abroad) : covered but a fix package fee will be charged in case of towing : 300€ The driver has the possibility to subscribe to an insurance called the EMS ( 10€/day - Max 30 days) to avoid the towing package in case of a breakdown.

It was okay. The car was good, but there was no other service. They overcharged me and only refunded me after I returned to my country. They charged a high administrative fee without any service.

The car rental location was extremely hard to find, the car had warning alerts, and there were no similar vehicles available for replacement. The company was unwilling to upgrade the vehicle and no one resolved the issue. They only assured that there were no major safety concerns.

The car pickup point at Paris Montparnasse is a bit tricky for those unfamiliar with the area because there are no signs or indicators on the street. You need to go down to the metro station parking area to find the rental company's office, which is easily noticeable. The staff at the office are very friendly and will explain the specifics of renting, such as which fuel to use and the extra charges for late returns. Overall, very professional. Returning the car in Lyon was relatively smooth, with minor hiccups in locating the parking lot. After initially parking in an adjacent lot, I walked to find the exact location. The return process was quick. Overall, I would rent from Eurocar again. Additionally, I had booked a Citroen C3 but was given a spacious Fiat SUV at pickup. The reverse gear on the Fiat manual transmission requires lifting a ring on the gear lever before shifting into first gear. Since I hadn't driven a Fiat before, I asked a passing driver for help. I received a lot of friendly assistance along the way, such as help with refueling, paying highway tolls, and parking on the roadside.
