We originally booked a Citroën C4, but at pickup, we were upgraded to a Peugeot 5008 with extra space, which can be converted to seven seats! We purchased full cover insurance and paid an additional 169 euros. The car was almost new and very easy to drive. We returned the car at night when the counter was closed. We filled the tank, parked in the ATESEA parking space, left the rental documents in the car, and dropped the key in a box—everything was fine. The next day, the 150 euro deposit was refunded to my credit card.

I'm not really sure, but the counter asked for notarized documents at pickup. Maybe a translated copy would be enough. The counter staff's English was quite good for Spain. Although the full cover insurance is a bit pricey, it's stress-free as you don't have to worry about any car damage. There's no need to check the vehicle carefully at pickup either. However, we didn't experience any damage at all this time, not even minor scratches.
