Long wait for car, Bordeaux airport.

Very good and price for value service. EXCEPT the heavy insistance to conclude an optional insurance, which almost doubles the total rental cost!!!

We waited for more than 3 hours to get the car. When your holiday is for 2 days, that in itself will screw the whole thing.. this is just unacceptable

Waited for a long time because the car was not on the system at the desk despite me having an email confirmation. Not even sure who the car was supplied by - Rhodium, Ace or Gold Cars? Waited for an hour for this to be rectified with a preganant girlfriend. Lady at the pick up desk was rude and unhelpful, I was told I was 'lucky you dont have to wait longer'. Aggressive attempts to sell insurance add ons. Eventually collected the car which was dented, scratched and dirty inside and out. Was told 'you are lucky its scratched because then its less likely you'll be charged for scratches that you cant even see when you bring it back'! In summary, a poor start to our holiday. Won't be using again.

Easyrentcars seemed to work well.

Online this company seemed the cheapest but I could only pay a £17 holding deposit for the car. When I completed the booking in Bordeaux the actual cost was equivalent to the other hire companies. The staff were nice & the pick up was in terminal and the car was clean and new.

Did not get the car I originally booked and ended up paying a lot more than expected!!
