We were given a Toyota Corolla Touring model of the same class, which was more convenient as we usually drive Toyota at home. The car pick-up and return procedures were very simple and took just five minutes, with no unnecessary upselling. The car was already equipped with snow tires. We were initially concerned about the road conditions in Lapland during the snow season, but there was no need to worry; the roads were in great condition. We were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights while driving at night.
I had a reservation for Sunday, July 28th. I arrived at the pick-up location in the morning, but the door was locked. I had to make an international call to the customer service and was told that the car rental company is closed on Sundays, but my reservation was still accepted. All our travel plans were arranged; what were we supposed to do? The rental platform suggested checking for other car rental companies nearby, but we were in an unfamiliar place! Finally, we managed to find another company but were told there were no cars available. We were really frustrated, but eventually, we found a car six hours later, which somewhat mitigated the loss.
Dislike: By mistake I have reserved the car for 10:30 PM and I came earlier 11:00 AM
Finnrent charge me for additions 41 Euro. This first time that a rental car charge me because of it.
