An employee was waiting with a sign, which was great. The handover was smooth, and the car was very new with only 5000km on it.

The staff had a very good attitude and patiently explained everything.

Didn't see the store

I rented the car for 4 days, but on the second night, they suddenly called me saying there was a legal issue with the car and they needed to replace it urgently, which caused problems for me on the third day. This is too bizarre.

No counter at the airport

Firstly, the car was quite old, with over 100,000 km on it. The steering wheel was very heavy, even heavier than the old Jeep I used for driving lessons. Additionally, they did not inform us about parking guidelines in Kota Kinabalu. We got fined RM30 for not displaying a parking card in a legitimate parking space. I parked for one day, and the rental company charged me RM30, but they could potentially park for free for the remaining 29 days. Is that how it works? Dissatisfied!

I didn't go to the store because I chose airport pickup and drop-off, which is available 24 hours. This was very convenient for our red-eye flight.

We rented a car from Kota Kinabalu to Semporna, but the car broke down on the way. There was no power when stepping on the gas pedal. We called the rental company to report it, and they initially said to keep driving to Semporna and they would replace the car there. Since we were staying on Mabul Island for 4 nights, we parked the car in Semporna. When we came back from our holiday, they neither replaced the car nor fixed it. We had to drive uphill at 30 km/h, which was extremely frustrating. One cylinder wasn't working, so we had to start and stop all the way to Kota Kinabalu. Finally, the rental company refunded us for 2 days of rental.

It's acceptable.

The pick-up and drop-off process is very quick, the vehicle is in good condition, and the staff are friendly.

They delivered the car to the airport, nice person.

Like: First of all Hafiz was very fluent in English, peasant personality. High level of service quality rendered.
Dislike: As I didn't listened clearly on the dropoff point I ended up entering the carpark which I couldn't exit. Eventually parked in the car park and Wales across where Hafiz was already waiting for us. He took over from there and left with a smile.
