      Service efficiency is average. Returning the car in the afternoon needs improvement. The car key should be placed in a prominent location at the rental company, not handed over to airport security. After working hours, it was difficult to find the security personnel. I had to ask several people and wait a long time to find where the key was left.

      They didn't have any SUVs in, so had to make do with what they did have (a skoda!). Was offered a number of upgrades for a cost, which I thought awfully kind of them. They seemed genuinely surprised when I suggested that I should be getting a free upgrade given that they didn't have the car I booked available.

      I booked Passat or similar and Europcar was trying to give me a compact car (Volvo V40), claiming that they don't have anything bigger. After my complains, they offered me Peugeot 3008, which was still way smaller than Passat, but we fit our luggage there (carrying one of the bags on the back seat). I hate when companies offer something which they cannot provide. I booked my trip ~1 month in advance, so they had enough time to prepare themselves. On a good side: the car I got was almost brand new - just 300 miles on its meter and it was very well equipped.

      Picked up and returned the car at London City Airport. Several rental companies are all together. The staff was very humorous, the process was quick, they confirmed identity, then found the QEEQ booking in the system. They showed the car condition report, and after confirming, I signed and paid a £300 deposit. Then they gave me the keys to pick up the car.

      Due to a flight delay of over an hour, we arrived at 10:30 PM. Hertz said someone would be at the counter, but there was no one there. European Car next door told us to come back the next day. We tried calling the rental service but got no answer. The next day, Hertz said the reservation had been canceled and no car was reserved for us. The rental service has yet to refund our deposit! Very dissatisfied! I will not recommend this rental service or Hertz to friends!

      I was inexplicably charged over 200 for repairs when returning the car. The photo showed some scuff marks on the wheel rims. I'm sure I didn't cause any damage while driving, but I didn’t take any photos as evidence when picking up or returning the car, so I ended up losing out. I recommend thoroughly inspecting the car and taking photos when picking up and returning it. The staff did suggest insurance for the wheel rims and glass, which I didn't purchase. The car was in good condition and fairly new. Dealing with foreigners, you need to be more cautious.

      Arrived to collect the car 16mins late and the car was no longer available. The existing booking was void and the onsite customer service forced me to upgrade in order to hire a car. Dropping the car off out of hours also needs to include an option for when the airport terminal is closed.

      When I went to pick up the car, the CS rep at Green Motion tried to get me to sign the check in form without looking at the car first. He then proceeded to give me attitude for wanting to look over the car before signing. I found several scratches that had to be noted, which I undoubtedly would have been charged for. The car also broke down on the way home from my trip due to a mechanical fault. Despite the breakdown being entirely out of my control, Green Motion still tried to place the blame on me several times when I called to find out what the situation was with my rental.

      Staff seemed to treat us horribly because we used this service. I had paid for full coverage through EasyRentCars but then they were trying to sell more insurance and made a big thing that I would need to cover costs and have a legal battle with EasyRentCars to get the coverage. I rented an SUV and they said they had a Seat SUV, but made us wait a long time to sort the booking and then turned up with a Vauxhall van with no explanation. Then they made excuses that they are free to replace the SUV with a van, the original lady went on a break and upon returning was surprised to see us there still (with our 5 month old baby). When I enquired about the original SUV she made the excuse that it was suddenly off to service. They really treated us horribly.

      Picking up the car was okay, but returning it was a nightmare. We arrived more than an hour in advance, but the return shop was closed with no staff around, even though the listed return location claimed to be open 24 hours. We were not informed about how to return the car or where to park it. After calling customer service and going through extensive communication, we were told it might be a self-service return. We eventually asked someone and located the parking area, then dropped the keys into the rental company's key box at the back door. Upon returning home, I found that more than 2000 was held on my rental card, but only 189 was refunded. When I inquired with customer service, they gave vague answers and mentioned it was a late return fee. I was completely at a loss. There was no late return, and even if there was, charging over 2000 is unreasonable.
