Q1.What is an insurance excess?
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

Overall satisfied. The staff recommended insurance when picking up the car, just decline if you don't need it. The car was relatively new, and the staff had already prepared the documents for cross-border travel. Very efficient. Returning the car was via a self-service key box.

Overall, it was pretty good. The deposit was low, and the service was quite decent. As long as you drive normally without any accidents, everything goes smoothly. Just a heads-up, in Slovenia, besides the car deposit, there’s an additional 15 euros highway fee. So, if you encounter this charge, don’t worry; it’s common here to have some extra fees and taxes.

The car company in Ljubljana only had Mercedes and a bit bigger than the car I have booked. Honestly, I do not wanted to rent a bigger car in Europe due to the narrow streets and parking space is just not a great place to have a bigger car to park anywhere, so I wasn’t happy w when the staff told me that they don’t have anything smaller than the one we rented. I was extreamly careful w parking the car everywhere I go, so i didn’t have any scratch or dent when I returned the car, but when I rent the car there, staffs were a bit irritated and wanted to leave there coz of their work hr is over, so they just got annoyed when I asked for different car and asking for instructions of the car. I wasn’t happy with the way treated me there. Also the parking area has no gps signals so I couldn’t turn on the gps for a while after I drove the road that did not know exactly where to go but couldn’t stop for a while due to the narrow roads that has no space to stop at the side of the road, really terrifying to drive when you not used the road and already dark outside, so many cars were following behind my car... not good at all.

We were a bit disappointed about the rental of a booster for our child- we didn’t get our suitcase with our booster in it so we had no choice but to rent one for 60 euros. We received our suitcase a day later and tried to return the booster and get a partial refund but they didn’t agree.

The car was filled with scratches and dings, which was fine for driving. However, when we came back, there was a very small scratch on the front bumper (smaller than a quarter) that was made when we bumped some dirt. They made a huge deal about it and are taking it to the "insurance" and are going to charge us. I believe they will pocket the money since they clearly have not fixed the other spots on the car. Very dishonest, do not rent with them!

View moreDislike: I asked in advance if the highway vignette is included in the price (I called the rental company). They assured me, that all cars have a vignette and I don't have to worry. When I returned the vehicle however, I had to pay 30 EUR for the highway vignette. The rental was still cheap, however I am not sure whether I will rent from this company again - other companies at the airport at least include the highway toll in the price when you rent it. The price at this company therefore seemed lower compared to others, but then I had to pay this surcharge.

First of all, the store is hard to find; it's near the departure gate, next to a small post office. Getting the car was quick. The car was an Opel Corsa with 60,000 km on it. However, that night I found out that the headlights weren't working; the left one was completely out, and the right one was dim. Without streetlights in the mountains, it was impossible to drive. When I called the store, they said I was too far to swap or fix the car. Come on, if I were close, why would I rent a car? What a lame excuse. When returning the car, first about the garage: There are two gates with two slopes, one for taking a ticket and one for scanning it. The second gate is an employee entrance which doesn't work for us. Unaware, I got out to inspect, ensuring the handbrake was on and the car was stable. To my surprise, it started rolling down the steep slope. Weighing only 100 pounds, I couldn't stop it. Thankfully, I was quick and pulled the handbrake just in time; otherwise, the car would have crashed into the barrier. Now stuck on the slope, the car couldn't reverse uphill due to its small engine. Panicked, I ran to the store for help. They immediately asked if I had entered the wrong entrance and if the car was undamaged, showing they were aware of the trap. They had an employee swiped his card and drove it in effortlessly. Why couldn't they help initially? During the final inspection, they found a 2cm x 1cm scratch on the rim and blamed me for it, even though I didn't check at pickup. I reluctantly said I had driven carefully. The inspector said, 'You did well, just a small issue, 20 euros.' What does that imply? I give three stars as I acknowledge some of my mistakes but hope my experience helps others avoid such pitfalls.
