Like: The shuttle came quickly and was a short trip to the pickup. I was up sold on the insurance although I had already purchased the full package, but they reduced my deposit from $2K to $500 for the economy car. Toll costs were explained well. Return was super easy and I was happy to see NO incidentals on my CC and deposit refunded in full when I got home!

The staff at the counter was not pleasant and did not listen to me.This is in regards to insurance of the rental car. I am covered by my insurance for rentals in US and Canada. Staff at the desk forced me purchase a policy of $14.00 US per day for 21 days, total of $313.00 US. This is a rip off.The cost of the car was $252.US. All necessary documents was provided. Do not rent from this fraudulent operation. First, when I booked an ''airport pickup'' I did not realize I would have to take TWO shuttles to get there, this took about 1 hour. But this was the least of my problems.
Right-Cars is a literal scam operation. I really cannot understand how with countless reviews confirming mine that they are still in business. I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE my trip. So here is how the scam works:
1) They offered a price that appears cheaper than the others online, so I booked my car.
2) Once you get to their counter they say that you have to pay for their damage and liability insurance. I said that my card covers that. They replied that my card would cover damage but I still had to pay liability insurance unless I had my own. Luckily I had proof of my own personal liability insurance with La Capitale Insurance and presented it to them. He said that he would just have to confirm with his manager that this insurance was acceptable but that their manager was not there at the moment. He told me that in the meantime I would need to sign acceptance of their insurance for 169,40$ USD and give an additional 200$ USD deposit but not to worry as they would not actually claim it from my credit card company. They said it was just a deposit.
3) They force you to take their ''SunPAss for tolls'' and when I said I did not want it (at 15$ USD per day plus toll charges) they became very rude and aggressive. I should have left right there and then but to rent somewhere else last minute was 3 times the price so I decided to still accept the car.
The car was dirty and old. When I got back from my trip they billed me all the above extras without my authorization. My credit card company is now suing them to get refunded. Whatever you do STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEFS!!

Never picked up the car. The people at Right Cars couldn't tell us how to get to their location. They kept telling us we needed to find a bus stop number 7, but two differen't people didn't know where it was. No one who worked at the airport could tell us where bus stop 7 was. I had to call them 3 different times and still couldn't find the shuttle. We walked around for over a half an hour trying to find this bus stop that didn't exist.

Location is ghetto, the office is a closet on the side of a repair garage that was made into a office. The first car they tried to give us had a brake light out. So they switched us to a car with major dents and a check engine light on. The inside of the glass was so dirty when the sun hit the glass I couldnt see out of it. The car had 3/4 of a tank of gas at pick up, how do you replensih 3/4 tank? It should be full and returned full.

We are canadian and this was our first time with RIGHT CARS. With other car rentals, we don't pay extra for the insurance and we show proof of our canadian insurance.
The person in charge would not let us pick-up the car because we were not insured with an american company. After a long discussion and being asked to make an authorization for 2000 $ on our credit card, I phoned EasyRentCars and registered a complaint. I called a friend to pick us up since we were stuck with no car. In a last attempt, the lady asked to see our voucher and finally said that the 2000$ was guaranteed by EasyRentCars in our voucher and finally let us go with the car.

I was also told by two different employees on two different calls to you about my miles being unlimited rate according to my voucher to go ahead and drive because we will cover it for you.
I was charged by Right Car $187.50 on Jan.17 2019.
I then started a dispute with my credit card company.
I was never given a contract proof to booking with your company stating anything regarding my Florida drivers license.
I will never use your company again and will spend my all my extra time writing bad reviews on your company because you don't take care of your customers the way the your employees say they will.

To our surprise Rightcars did not accept our insurance coverage from Canada. we were requested proof of coverage from a US insurance company therefore we were obliged to pay an extra $204.00 US to keep us covered. We have been travelling for over 12 years and it is the first time we encounter this problem. Other rental companies accept that we are covered by an insurance company from Canada. The staff at the rental counter were terrible. They made it seem like you couldn't drive in Florida without a Sunpass and did not have any maps. We later found out that there are very few toll roads that are Sunpass only and we were able to pay for a few tolls with cash. It seemed like a scam. And the check-in took a long time. Originally I read that I needed proof of insurance in order to not purchase insurance which was no problem, but when I went to pick up the car I discovered that I needed ridiculously high coverage and so had to pay $15/day for insurance. Then I also found out that I had to pay for a sun-pass toll thing for another $14/day. In their defense, both of these items were listed in the small print, but I felt taken advantage of. Then the car I ordered was supposed to be a small car and I was given a minivan which I didnt need or want but they said they had no other options. And finally, they gave me the car with only a 1/4 tank of gas which was very inconvenient for my 36hour rental. Was not impressed.

Absolutely a nightmare. I didn't realize it was off-site from the airport, there were no instructions for how to find Right Car, and it wasn't even easy to figure out from my confirmation email what the rental company was. I finally figured it out, called them, and they said they would send a shuttle. A shuttle driver from another company ended up giving me a ride to Right Cars, and he pointed out to me that the Right Cars shuttle hadn't even left.
They required a copy of my insurance, which is not normal, and they also required a TWO THOUSAND DOLLAR DEPOSIT which is not normal.
When they tried to swipe my credit card, it didn't go through - there was no reason for that, because I have a far more than $2000 limit on my card - and they swiped a second of my credit cards which also didn't go through, again for no discernible reason.
The customer service person said that after two swipes, she couldn't swipe it again, and there was no other way for her to rent me a car, so after wasting 45 minutes between the shuttle and this BS company while my grandfather was on his deathbed, I ultimately was not able to rent a car and had to go back to the airport in a Lyft to rent a car from another company at the last minute.
I looked on Yelp and this company has an AVERAGE of one star. You should be ashamed of yourself for supporting this scam business.

I have been renting cars in Florida for 25 years. I always have a pleasant experience. Right Cars was absolutely horrendous. From the moment I picked up the car until drop off. The car was unsafe and dirty. Ontop of that, the customer service made the experience the absolute worst.
When I went to pick up the car, the supervisor, Oscar wanted to charge me extra insurance because I didn't have the "sufficient coverage". I called my agent infront of him, and she assured me that I had more than enough coverage. He argued for about 25 minutes claiming this $300,000 property provision was in the terms and conditions when I booked. I pulled up the terms and conditions infront of him, read them aloud, and no where did it state a property provision. Our declaration stated we had enough coverage as well as the fact that I have $500,000 in liability.
He was rude, nasty, and extremely condescending. He seemed happy to argue with me. The vehicle was absolutely disgusting. Myself and my daughters were grossed out to sit in it. All four windows, including the windshield were dirty and didn't look like they were ever cleaned from the inside. There was some sort of glue all over the middle of the windshield which was a huge distraction while driving at night. The car had an abrupt shake if you went over 55 mph. In addition, the car had over 30,000 miles on it. In all of my years of renting a car, they have never had anything close to 30,000 miles. We returned to Right Cars to get into another argument. I told Oscar about the condition of the car and the shaking. He did not seem phased. I filled up the car and upon returning it, it was down by one tick of gas. He insisted he must charge me a $50 gas fee. I had to have my daughter drive the car to the nearest gas station to fill up 1 gallon of gas. This made us late to the airport, requiring us to take an Uber. He was rude and did not care that he was making us late at all. Terrible experience and I will never rent again.

Girl who called herself “manager” had poor communication, and when I was aghast, she refused to rent me the car.

And she supplied me with 2 phone numbers, neither of which worked. I called both eight in front of her.
When I pointed this out, she didn’t care and said to leave.
She kept my money and gave me no car and no one to contact.

Cars were ok it was the counter person that told us a lie. Our resorts was Wyndham just off either 95 or the toll road. Fact is, we never passed a toll booth on the Toll road or 95. He told us we would pass 4 tolls to our resort and it would cost $25 per toll, thus, $200 when we returned the car on I 95. Another lie. Even the girl working that day said the same thing. After completing the paperwork and being told that the coverage on my BMW M6 wasn't enough to cover the Nissan compact I was renting, the agent tried to tell me I HAD to get their insurance. I had called my insurance company (USAA) before my trip and they assured me my coverage was sufficient. When I told the agent (W. Curri) I would check with my credit card company to make sure everything was legit, he said he would not rent me the car and pulled back all of the paperwork. Once there, we discovered that there were very few rentals available and the customer service staff was not helpful. Absolutely the worst car rental experience we’ve ever had!!
The charges that we had agreed to through Easy Rent Cars were only the beginning. We were surprised to learn that we HAD to buy RIGHT CAR liability insurance even though I produced the documentation from my Canadian insurance company stating that I was covered (add approx $25.00 to our final bill) They then proceeded to inform me that we had no choice but to purchase the SUNPASS and that would be another $10 per day of rental.
The car was less than clean when we got it and the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming!! The gas tank was at 3/4 full, when we got it also! When traveling on the highway the car felt like the front wheels were going to fall off and we were afraid to go over 55 mph.
The car rental that was suppose to be $52.34 Canadian ended up costing us over $100.00 $US when Right cars were finished with the bill!
Anyone considering renting from this firm ... save yourself some money and frustration ... rent from a reputable agency.

The pick up location was not specified in the reservation. I called them several times to pick me up from the airport. The Right Cars front desk charged me for rental insurance while I had Comprehensive coverage. They also overcharged me for unlimited toll pass. They forced me to buy it. I ended up paying 3 times more than what I expected based on the rate specified in Easyrentcars.com. It was the worse expereice that I have ever had with rental car companies.

Right cars pick up was easy, but the staff was horrible to me when I had a problem with the vehicle. The AC went out and was not working. I was on vacation in Florida and the AC went out. When I called to see how I could fix the problem or get a new car I was told that I didn’t know how to use the AC and that I wasn’t getting a different car. When I dropped the vehicle off the address I was given was wrong and approx 3 blocks away from the actual location. When I arrived at the drop off, Oscar confirmed that the AC wasn’t working and that I would be refunded an unknown amount of money.

They were giving me a car with bad tires, cuts in 3 of them , unsafe, low profile tires and rims...the rims were all scratched up due to the low profile tires. Should not be renting cars with low profile tires. Manager said he could not give me a different class of car , even though i would have taken smaller. Had to wait over an hour for a Hyundai Sonata lucky that it came back. This was the only car on the lot like this...all others were fine. be very careful on the 300,000 liability of your own insurance you must have to avoid high charges.

I was at the Right Car counter, and I signed the contract. And soon after the representative took it back and tore it saying he was cancelling the reservation. I was asked to show my insurance which I did and he claimed the liability was not enough. I have attached a copy of my insurance and as you can see it has 100/300/100 limit, so I was trying to find out where is my insurance lacking the coverage and asking for an explanation. At no point did I ever refuse their insurance. And in fact even agreed to purchase it. The representative just decided to cancel the reservation with no value reason and ask me to leave. I had prepaid the entire amount of reservation and was told I would get no refund. I see no fault of mine in this and the least I deserve is my money back. Not to mention this caused me a lot of inconvenience, wasted my time, and I had to end up looking for another car rental which costs me a lot money. I had never ever experienced such terrible car rental experience in my life before.

Do not rent with this company, I was given a car that had the trunk already damaged, on my way to my hotel the trunk opened, other drivers honked at me to let me know, not the best way to start. I managed to close it and continue. The second day I called no answer, not the way you want to spend your vacations, on the phone and trying to get another car that never happened. I tied a cord to keep it close. I finally talked to somebody two days before my vacations ended and told them I did not want to be blamed for that, and they told me not to worry about it.
Guess what, A week after my deposit was not returned and when I called they said that they will not give me my deposit back because I damage the Trunk!!!!!!!. What is wrong with these people, they are so dishonest, I will not recommend this company at all. Go with the ones that are in the airport, even if is more money
One more thing, I spoke to the manager today I mention that I will fill out this survey, and he said that if I do it, he will not help me in any way to get my deposit back. That is so unprofessional.

They forced me to buy extra insurance b/c I had less then 300,000 insurance coverage and nowhere in the contract it said that. For the price i paid i could have used Enterprise which does not have that ridiculous policy.
I could not find the place, there was no parking for my brother who accompanied me to park his car while he was waiting for me.
There is no signage, it is so hard to find.
The staff was nice but there was nothing they could do.

BE WARNED: This rental company WILL find a way to uncharge you at the counter for a seemingly inexpensive rental. I declined insurance coverage because BOTH my insurance company and the rental company confirmed that my coverage was adequate over the phone and upon arrival at the counter I was told that my 100,000/300,000 coverage was inadequate and they require 300,000/500,000. They required I pay an additional $40 for my three-day rental (essentially doubling the original price). It was going to be $45 on my credit card but they dropped it to $40 since I paid cash, which seems highly suspect to me. I called my insurance company from the counter and they were willing to raise my coverage limits for the month, which would have cost me about $6-$7 but the counter associate told me that they couldn't accept that change - even if my insurance carrier faxed proof of higher coverage directly to their office - because it has to be in effect for 30 days or else it won't be "in the system". Had we not been on a schedule, I would have cancelled the reservation and gone elsewhere, even if I had to pay more to a different company, just to avoid these scam artist.
This company offers very inexpensive bookings up front and then finds all sorts of ways to add charges if you are not careful (if you bring the car back with less gas, $25 fee PLUS $9 per gallon; if you don't purchase their toll pass transponder and go through tolls, they charge $25 PER TOLL you pass through). Spend the extra money to book with a reputable company who isn't going to try to rob you.

They forced me to purchase liability insurance and then didn't actually let me use it when there was a situation where a lady next to my rental car claimed that the passenger side door hit her car. There was no damage to the passenger side door, at all, but the lady was awful and Right Cars' customer service was the PITS!
Finding the drop off location was a nightmare and having someone help was bad, too.

We ended up cancelling our rentals, since they denied our personal insurance with $2,000.000 liability insurance coverage( they requirement is $300,000)?

I reserved the vehicle for pickup at12pm and dropoff at 12pm. My flight arrived at 7pm. The representative didn't want to change the rental time. He was nickel and dimeing on the car insurance. I already had insurance on my own vehicle, so I wanted to transfer the coverage to the rental, but he didn't want to, this way he could make more money on the agreed upon price. The car rental was away from the airport. I purchased the additional insurance prior to renting the vehicle, but the service person insisted that it was not for full coverage and almost refused to rent until a purchased the additional insurance at the counter. We were unable to locate the gas door which was under the armrest on the door. We had to return the vehicle to the rental car return and go back to refill when showed how to open the gas door.

This is an off site vendor. Two Venezuelan young men operate the whole business. They are open 8 am to 8 pm. You have to go to Terminal 1 to the bus stop position 7 and call and wait for their van.
