East Coast Car Rentals provides a free transfer Shuttle service from the Airport to their Rental office situated close by. You will receive an SMS text 24 hours prior to your pickup time with an active link to the Shuttle requesting system. To order your Shuttle, click the link in your SMS after you have collected your bags or cleared customs if you are arriving Internationally. Shuttle bus drivers will respond to your request, and you can use the system to also get walking directions on how to get to the shuttle collection point. when we went there, car has flat tyre already, nobody pre checked before us. no apologies wasting our time but staff rudely talk. they managed another vehicle for us which was cheaper than what i paid and staff was asking more money than what was on easyrentcars.com , i showed them amount in print out paper. finally it took more than 40 mins to get the car. don’t recommend east coast specially poor staff service

Some of the staff were brilliant and very helpful. One particular staff member was unprofessional and inattentive and quite rude. We had a few issues with the car. A tire had popped and when we went to change it there were parts missing from the jack and the spare was flat. I wish I had paid better attention to staff members names as one of them was outstanding. His customer service was impeccable and you could see he loved his job. The other made me feel uncomfortable and seemed like he wanted to aggravate the situation

The attitude was lukewarm, and they said the insurance from Zuzuche was not good enough, recommending an additional $17 per day insurance to reduce the deductible to $500, otherwise, it would be $5500 if something happened. You could also choose not to buy it! The pick-up staff had a cold attitude. When I got to the company, I encountered a Chinese staff member who also mentioned the cold attitude of the pick-up staff and was indifferent as well. They kept saying the Zuzuche insurance was useless. When I rented a car via Zuzuche at the Gold Coast, that company never mentioned anything about the insurance. I suggest Zuzuche provide renters with clear guidelines and regulations about the insurance.

The car had a few electrical issues. It would show hazard lights when going over a bump. Sometimes it would start but not want to go anywhere. When driving in the middle of a lane it would try to pull the car over closer to the line. East Coast have been informed of this. The Haval is has uncomfortable driver seating. The headrest angles in too far and gives the driver a sore neck. Not sure we would rent one again.
