An unsealed road refers to a constructed or formed road that is not sealed with a hard material, such as tar, bitumen or concrete. Rental cars can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well maintained roads.Vehicles are not to be taken above the snow line unless Snow Cover has been purchased.Excluded from the protection is driving on beaches or through streams, dams, rivers or flood water. The lady at check in counter did not ask if we needed an upgrade. Kept saying you booked through a third party so we can not help you. Asked us where we were going and said in a sarcastic do not go on unsealed road. I said we never intended to. The other guy at counter said we could have an upgrade she said no I have already processed it.
