Due to unfamiliarity with the route, there was a navigation error, causing us to go to the wrong car rental company and miss the pick-up time. However, the staff at Autonom waited for us and warmly assisted us with the procedures, test drive, and important reminders. We were very satisfied!

They immediately said they were going to freeze 10,000 RMB as a security deposit. Alternatively, we could buy insurance that costs 50-100 euros per day. They also mentioned that if there were damages, we would have to pay a certain amount, which made us very nervous. We frequently rent cars elsewhere and no company has ever frozen such a large amount! When picking up the car, the staff were not very clear about existing damages. Because 10,000 RMB was frozen, we inspected the car very carefully on the spot. Some damages were not even noticed by the staff. In other words, if we didn't point them out on the spot, they might blame us for them when we return the car and charge us!
