Great car, very clean and paperwork was in English which was good. Counter service staff should be able to speak some English. This was not the case and made the collection process quite stressful.
Drop off car customer service a bit rude.when ask more questions she will show her face. We were overcharged for the petrol price at the counter. Very disappointed
I booked Sabaru Impreza but was offered Mazda 3 which is totally out of our expectation. I don’t expect Mazda 3 is similar class as Sabaru Impreza as car price, quality or performance.
Staff for release car at the counter quite terrible because he said he have no baby car seat for rent in the office and he said he will let us to go to another company to rent a car because i forgot to tell Easyrentcar that i have baby come with this trip. Anyway one of their staff help us to find baby carseat from another office. So everything ok after that moment. Another thing i told them to make full insurance with this rent car. But the problem is they said This insurance will not full cover if i found some scratch but forgot to phone to them everyday that i rent. It quite strange a little bit with this counter staff.
There is no counter in the airport. We need to take a shuttle bus to domestic terminal and walk 400 meters to the car office. Otherwise we need to call the office which we don't have the Japanese telephone number. At the counter, the staff sold the car insurance even we already have had a basic one. We had to pay 3000 JPY for another basic insurance. The car is quite old and less function. GPS is the car can be used in English but difficult to find English names. Returning car is different from the pick up point, we were blamed from the staff that we returned the car at the wrong office. We had to drive to another office which near the international terminal. We were confused why the instruction told us to pick up the car at the domestic office. We will never use this company again in the future.
Overall, it was quite good. There is a counter at the airport, and staff will direct you where to wait for the shuttle. We waited a bit long for the shuttle. Then they take you to the rental store.
Very satisfied. The airport counter service was professional and there was a shuttle service for car pickup, which was very convenient. The handover procedures were completed quickly.
1. The store is located at Fukuoka Airport's domestic terminal, which is very inconvenient for foreign tourists. It's impossible for tourists not to take domestic flights in Japan, especially when returning the car before flying back home. They only offer shuttles to the domestic terminal, and customers have to take their own bus to the international terminal, which was difficult as we had heavy luggage and were all women. When we asked for extra help, they flatly refused! The domestic to international terminal shuttle bus was also very crowded, which made the experience quite distressing.
2. The insurance details were not clearly explained when booking the car, so we just chose the basic option. There were no detailed explanations given when we picked up the car. While using the car, we hit a roadside fence while reversing due to the narrow road. Upon closer inspection of the insurance policy, the highest compensation was 50,000 yen. Additionally, if the car can still be driven, another 30,000 yen (or 70,000 yen if it can't be driven), totaling 80,000 yen in fees! There was no room for negotiation, even if it was just a minor scratch. It felt so unfair! If they had explained the insurance details clearly, we could have just paid a small fee of 1,000-2,000 yen and resolved everything. Such a great trip was completely ruined in the end!

New car in good, clean condition. If the office can open earlier than 8am will be good as need to rush to catch 10am flight. Office is near domestic airport so need to rush to International airport to return car. They don’t allow to return at International airport

Very easy to book and customer service respond email v fast
I flew an international flight, but the car rental pickup point is only near the domestic terminal in Japan. So, I booked a car at the domestic terminal for convenience. However, it turned out the distance between the international and domestic terminals is quite far. The company's desk at the international terminal does not offer a shuttle to the rental point or the domestic terminal; you have to take a public shuttle on your own. When returning the car, the rental company also won't take you to the international terminal. Their service is rigid and needs improvement.
