An absolute joke, trying to sell their own insurance, scaring that without this insurance I won't be able to visit the majority of the places, which was false. Big queues as well. AVOID GOLDCAR!
1 hour queue at the airport desk.
Attempted to sell additional insurance
Card machine took 3 attempts to take the 1230Euro deposit.
Deposit taken twice from our credit card.
No reply to any phone calls or e-mails we sent to the Goldcar Fuerta ventura office.
Even their head office did not deal with our complaint.
Caution !! The booking price seems to be a good bargain but when you pick up the car, they force you to pay an insurance for 4 times the price of the rental !! (The commercial strategie is to tell you than if you don’t souscrive to their insurance they ll have to lock 1400€ for 1 month on your credit card...) my advise : find an other rental !
