I rented a Toyota RAV4 but was given an MG HS EV plug-in hybrid instead, which felt like it was forced upon me. Charging stations are very scarce in Australia, making it nearly impossible to charge. Even when I found a station, it took at least 5 hours to fully charge, which is very impractical. I advise renters in Australia to be cautious when choosing electric or plug-in hybrid cars, especially since MG's charging port is too rare.
