1) I waited in line for a long time before meeting counter staff. There were at least 8 people before me, and there was only 1 counter staff serving the customers.
2) the shuttle from car rental terminal to Fox car rental was too small, it can only take few passengers with luggage’s. As a result, half of my family was left behind for the next shuttle.
3) after my car return, I would rather the shuttle drop us off at SFO instead of to the car rental complex (so that we don’t have to wait for the blue line to bring us to SFO.)
The wait was ridiculous....over 1 hour to compete the paperwork...will probably never use Fox again. Numerous surprises with the gas scenario and tolls.

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting a car. First we wanted a Jeep Grand Cherokee. What we got was a Mitsubishi which is smaller than a Jeep Grand Cherokee. But it all started when we got to the counter and had to wait for over an hour to get service. Everyone in line was complaining. Then we finally get to the counter and they try to sell us everything they can think of when we had already declined it when we booked. When I complained about the size of car we had paid for they proceeded to tell us that they do not have Jeep Cherokee at the same time the screen behind the counter was advertising the Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I mentioned it, the girl became very nasty. When we got to the garage to pick up the car, there was a Jeep Grand Cherokee there. The minute we opened the doors to the car, it smelled like someone had been on a horse farm with it. After sitting in the sun almost every day, it smelled even worse. I mentioned it to the attendant and he just ignored me. Because of the service we got, I made sure to check the car before we left and the back was all scratched so I made the attendant note it on our paperwork so we would not get charged for the damage. I will NEVER rent from FOX in San Francisco again. Worst experience renting a car ever.

Waited for a while during renting process. The biggest issue was that there was no indication at reservation time that basic legally required insurance was not included in the rental rate. This was not being transparent on the part of both easyrentcars and Fox rent a car. Hence, I had to pay a lot more during rental for insurance which made this a much more expensive rental than I thought it would be. Very disappointing experience and non transparent rate display during search and reservation time. The cost of extending the reservation by a day was very exorbitant.
