The lady at Avis Ballina was very rude when we were checking for car because we booked through a third party. She snatched slammed the paper in the desk asked me questions I told her to read the paper.
The location was hard to find, hidden behind a shop. In the end, I had to ask locals to help me find it. The staff at the store were unwilling to rent out the car, and I ended up not renting one at all. Terrible experience!
The store manager KIM is very warm and friendly, but the rental store is generally unattended outside of flight times, so be sure to contact them in advance.
We were given a vehicle that had low pressure and a warning sign and then downgraded two levels with no refund to a Kia sedan that was quite unclean
