Car was OK, management at Easirent was horrible. I won't be back.

Reviewed: Tue, May 7, 2019
About Easirent: 6.0 /10
Everything went OK at Easirent, except for one thing, the manager. He was completely unprofessional. He wasn't there when we first arrived but we received help from another staff member, who was actually helpful. The office phone rang and the staff member picked it up and began to help the person on the phone. So we began waiting. Once the manager arrived he immediately turned his back to us and started doing something on his cell phone. It quickly became clear that he was texting with someone. The other staff member had to break his attention and remind him, the manager, that we had been waiting for a while. He then began to take our information but then quickly went back to his cell phone around the corner. He then instructed a third staff member, who apparently had only worked there for three days, to help us while he, the manager, went off to text on his phone again. The staff member who had only been there for three days tried to help me as best he could, but there were things he just didn't know due to lack of experience, but it was not his fault. The manager eventually came back and finished checking us in and then left again leaving the other two staff members to get the car for us and go over the rest of the normal car rental procedures. Again, the two staff member were excellent and helped me as best they could, but the manager was completely unprofessional and needs retraining.

good service. Car clean, good conditions. I just not happy they push me to buy toll road card when it is not as necessary as they said and it is more than $40 usd. If you will rent a car in Florida there is more options for transit, not mandatory buy the toll card. The rest was good.

“GREAT REASONABLE PRICE!1”
About Easirent: 9.3 /10
I definitely would rent with you again. They upgraded my car at N/c since you were out of the car I rented. Didn;t need such a bigvehicle but took it anyway since nothing else was available. Was a bit upset when I called for p/u at the airport and it went to voice mail. Had to callback 2 times to get somebody but she said she was there alone and on the other phone.

“I feel mislead about the price. I was charged more than quoted unfairly and it's not been corrected”
About Easirent: 8.0 /10
The car smelled of cigarette smoke from the previous user. I'm not a smoker and this was disgusting. I was shown the car from the outside but not the inside so I was not aware it was that bad. Also, the quote was not billed. Instead I had to pay more and this was not made clear in the search process for your service. I had the insurance coverage I was supposed to have and should not have been billed additional fees. I would use this service again due to convenience, and I'd know to get in the car before leaving to be sure a smoker had not used the car previously. If... you can honor the quote given. I need to come back again to that area specifically and would hope to use your services, but not with the over billing process.

“Unnerving Experience”
About Easirent: 6.7 /10
Did not realize until I had gone from the pickup center that there was only 3/4 of a tank of fuel. I returned it completely full as agreed. No one had ever rotated the tires. I would have taken it back for another because the front tires were so badly worn that the vehicle was totally unsafe, but my work schedule did not allow me to. Just kept my fingers crossed the whole time I used it, and was never so happy to get rid of a rental vehicle in my life. It was really pretty unnerving to drive that vehicle. No one at your pick up center explained the rental agreement process through email until I questioned why I did not have a rental agreement copy. From the time I left the center until I received the email a while later, I was driving a vehicle with zero documentation. That also was a bit unnerving.

“Will Not Use Easirent Again”
About Easirent: 2.0 /10
After being at the counter for nearly 20 minutes and being told that I could not use my company card which had my name on it to pay for the car, and going back and forth as to why I had to use my personal credit card, the lady finally ran my company card only to (of course) find out that the car had already been paid for and that payment could be processed on the card. In the middle of this experience, I asked the lady to cancel my reservation and was told that I could do it online that she would not do it for me (even though no one was waiting in line to do so). Upon walking away and reviewing my reservation, I learned that at 9:30am it was 30 minutes past the time that I could cancel - so I went back up to the desk where it seemed obvious that she knew I wouldn't get the money back should I have canceled. She then proceeded for at least ten minutes to talk me into buying insurance, which I already have but of course according to her it wouldn't be enough should I have an accident. After calling my insurance company to confirm, of course I had the coverage needed to deal with any accident issues. She then proceeded to try to talk me into buying a Sunpass because she said I'd spend more than $60 going to Orlando. Which I didn't, I spent $10 for the entire trip. Lastly, I was told that because I was going to Orlando that I didn't have unlimited miles as my email confirmation said, I had 150 miles per day and that I should have read through the terms and conditions. How about Easirent ask a question through the reservation process about where the destination is and let people know about the mileage cap on the front end instead of just saying it'll be 89 cents per mile extra now that a person cannot cancel the reservation. All in all, I was incredibly frustrated with the process, as were the three people standing in line upon my return to the company window. Two of the three couples canceled their reservation at the window due to their own frustration. Never again.
