Very pleased with booking and car provided. The car was a good 10 minutes walk to collect and no one came with us to confirm the cars condition. We were not told the cars condition even though we asked and were expected to accept their inspection with small print telling us
to report marks. This meant that even if we found marks they already knew about, we would have to walk back adding approx 30-40 minutes to our collection after walking there and back and queuing again. We found a very small mark when we lifted the boot hatch under the lip (not visible if boot not opened) it was two small scratches less than a centimetre each. 1. assumed this was already noted. 2. Our experience is that anything under a centimetre long is accepted as normal ware and tear. When we took car back an attendant in the car park took ages to look all over the car. Found the scratches and reported it as our damage. Made a big deal of it explaining all they ways we could have scratched it and that most people lie about scratches so we weren't to be trusted. Then we were told to go to the counter inside the terminal where we were told that the easy rent car insurance would be enough and we should have taken out their insurance. After 20 minutes of dispute my husband showed him the picture we took and he said oh that's tiny, we won't charge you for that. It took an hour to drop off the car!!!
