I found Alamo has more cars, in better condition, and you can choose from the available cars in the lot based on your selected model. Particularly, they have a lot of new cars, which is better than many rental companies. This time, because we had a lot of luggage to bring back home, we followed the staff's suggestion and switched to a 7-seater Chrysler MINI Van. They patiently showed us how to fold the seats and explained various functions of the car. The vehicle was practically new, with only 2 miles on it! When we returned home, the four of us, along with four large suitcases, three medium-sized cases, a 16-inch box, several carry-ons, and a bicycle all fit inside. Back home, it took both a minivan and a sedan to carry all this stuff. It was incredibly practical!

Despite that, not only did they not refund the extra amount I paid, but the staff initially charged me over $1000 for the switch. I later spoke with a manager and explained that I switched based on their suggestion and wouldn't do it if it cost extra. He checked the computer and issued a new receipt, canceling the $1000+ switching fee. The takeaway is that international rules can be different from ours, so make sure to clarify everything and fight for your rights, or you'll end up losing out!
