The airport pick-up service was good, and the car's condition was quite ideal. It came equipped with an integrated GPS and DVD system. You can schedule a return service at the airport for as early as 4 AM, and they will notify you of the staff's contact information via SMS in advance. Unfortunately, the overtime fee is a bit expensive, costing over 600 baht.
There is no Budget counter inside Chiang Mai Airport. The rental form didn't have an address, so after asking multiple times, we learned we needed to take a taxi to the company to pick up the car. When we arrived, the staff said they had sent someone to pick us up. This arrangement was a bit confusing, but everything else was satisfactory. The car was very new, the air conditioning was excellent, and they even allowed us to extend our return time. Extremely satisfied!
The car pick-up was very quick, and the English was excellent, without any pushiness.
