The process was fairly smooth and the staff provided detailed information. Unlike in China, the staff just gave the key and the parking spot, and you have to get the car yourself instead of them driving it out for you.

They replaced it with a gasoline SUV, which was excellent.

Apart from the annoying upsells, everything was fine. We got two booster seats (without backrests) for children. We booked a car similar to a Sharan and received a brand new (15000 km) Renault Intiale. The electronic control system is comprehensive, featuring power folding seats in the last two rows, a power tailgate, keyless entry, auto-lock, a heads-up display, automatic speed and distance recognition, and an emergency brake system (which we didn't need to use). There's also a touch screen the size of an iPad with excellent navigation, much more reliable than a phone's GPS, likely capable of estimating the position in tunnels based on the car's mileage.

The store was easy to find, and the car pick-up process was quite simple after completing the online preparations.
