If you don't purchase the car company's insurance, you'll have to pay up to 2500 NZD for any accidents, and further processing is very slow. The car rental service only responds by telling you they've urged again. The experience was not great. I recommend skipping the car rental service's insurance and directly buying the car company's insurance.

Like: Best price for car rentals. New Zealand has the highest car rental price than all countries I visit.
Dislike: The only down side was we had to wait over half an hour from the time we rang them to be picked up at airport. Apart from that it was a fab experience.

Dislike: as our flight landed 12midnight we could not make contact out of hours had to get taxi to city hotel then back to aerodrive

Dislike: The process to get the car at Auckland Airport is horrendous. We'd never done it this way before and the service desk for all offsite hire car companies is disorganised and chaotic. One of the two telephones at the service desk goes straight to voicemail and so without a local mobile it's impossible to know how to pick up the car or get to the lot if you've never done it before. We wasted about an hour trying to figure it out. But once we had been picked up by Aerodrive our experience was great from there on.

Like: I was very happy with the car, the service and the staff. I would recommend this company and I will use them agai n in a few months.
Dislike: Location, tricky to get to you base.
