A hold of 18000 Kc was placed on my credit card as a damage deposit. If there are no issues with the car upon return during RIGHT CARS office hours, they cancel the hold immediately and close the case cleanly.

You can rent a car with a Hong Kong driver's license without an IDP... Rented a sedan, got a station wagon instead, felt like a good deal... The car was very new, had only run a little over 4000 km... 1.5T + DSG engine, satisfactory power... High vehicle configuration, key feature includes Carplay, very convenient... Super large trunk, can easily fit two 28-inch suitcases... The car was new and comfortable to drive...

Picked up the car at 11 AM at the airport. There was only one staff member, a friendly Czech guy. He explained the process in the reception office and then went to the parking garage for the handover. Everything went smoothly without any queues.
