The rental company staff did not check if the car key had battery power. On the second day, just when we were about to leave Melbourne, the car key died, and we couldn't start the car. After waiting for 40 minutes and replacing the battery, we were able to head to our destination, the steam train, for which we had already bought tickets. We were worried we wouldn't make it on time, but thankfully, we didn't miss it. We immediately reported the situation to the car rental service, very worried that our relatives in Melbourne might not have a car key battery. If that had been the case, our day's schedule would have definitely been delayed. In the end, we never received an explanation or compensation for the new car key battery.

The girl at the reception was somewhat friendly. However, her company has serious problems. I'm talking about core values. This issue has led the company to adopt the worst strategy possible—renting out very old cars with over 135,000 kilometers on them. This caused my car to break down after just 100 kilometers from the store! I've been renting cars worldwide for over 25 years and have rented from almost every rental company. No rental company dares to do this. That night, I missed dinner and had to make do with pizza. I almost missed my booked motel as well!

After arriving at the airport, I called for a pick-up. It took three hours for someone to show up.
