The store deceived customers. We booked a Mercedes on the app but were given a Peugeot 308. Currently, the customer service of the rental app is helping us negotiate a refund. We are waiting for the result.

The service was acceptable, but there was a significant difference between the reserved car and the one actually received. I booked an XC90 or similar because I needed the large space for luggage, but I was given a Mercedes GLB, which is two sizes smaller, and almost couldn't fit my luggage.

This car rental experience was extremely poor, like a nightmare! I booked a Volvo XC60 SUV and arrived at the rental office early to pick up the car. First, they tried to sell us insurance, which we declined. Then, they gave us a sedan, claiming it was a similar model. We insisted that we had booked an SUV, and reluctantly, the staff brought out a Mercedes GLB. The appropriate counterpart to the Volvo XC60 SUV should be a Mercedes GLC, but the GLB is obviously not in the same category. The staff member said there were no other cars available. The signal reception at the pickup location was very poor, so we were unable to contact anyone. With all our luggage, we had no choice but to take the GLB and leave. Upon reaching the surface, we contacted the rental platform, Zuzuche, which promised to help arrange for a car swap in the next city. However, upon reaching the next city, despite Zuzuche's website showing availability of a Volvo XC60, they claimed there were none. I rented the car for 17 days and traveled through more than 10 cities but never got a replacement. Upon returning, I contacted Zuzuche's customer service, and they had the audacity to say that the Mercedes GLB and Volvo XC60 are in the same category. The industry consensus is that Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC, and Volvo XC60 are similar models. Zuzuche, however, stubbornly insisted that their rental office has the final say on what constitutes a similar model. Unbelievable! A clear case of big company bullying!

Overall, I feel that Company E is quite large and offers standardized services. I initially booked to pick up the car at the Hyde Park location, but since my accommodation changed to near Tate Modern, after negotiating with Company E, their head office agreed to change the pick-up location to the Waterloo branch. Of course, due to our broken English during communication, there was almost a misunderstanding. The Hyde Park branch thought we wanted to cancel the booking, and we had to ask a friend to help us translate to convey our intention to change the pick-up location. This was all due to our poor English. On August 27th, we went to the store to pick up the car, which was initially confirmed as a Buick GL8, but we were given a luxurious Volkswagen Sharan from 2014, which was in great condition. The pick-up process was very simple, similar to renting a car in China. We first verified the order and documents, signed some forms, and then inspected the car at the parking lot, checking the fuel gauge, odometer, lights, and both the interior and exterior condition. Everything was fine, and we received the car. The entire process took about 20 minutes. During the handover, the pretty female receptionist also reminded us of some important points. After that, it was all good to go!
