This was the most disappointing car rental experience. The store did not thoroughly inspect the vehicle before pickup, and upon return claimed there were extra scratches on the car. I drove very carefully the entire time with no incidents. The staff at the Frankfurt branch had a very poor attitude.
The service is quite good, and the young guy was very enthusiastic. They upgraded me to a better car for free when the model I reserved wasn't available.
There is a counter in the airport hall. After completing the paperwork, you can pick up the car in the nearby parking lot. The parking lot is not far; it's just a two or three-minute walk.
