Average, not as good as before. The car provided is far inferior to Malibu, with limited space, poor performance, and a large blind spot in the left rearview mirror.
The waiting time was extremely long, almost two hours. The final agreement included many additional charges, such as a daily $10 roadside assistance fee (which was already included in the insurance purchased through the car rental site) and a $20.99/day toll fee package (which was requested in advance but more expensive than the expected $14.99). However, since I had other things to do later and was already exhausted, I didn't want to argue further.
They suggested we buy a one-day highway toll pass, which saved us time and money driving from Washington to New York. However, when they upgraded our car, they didn't emphasize the additional $100 charge, even though our rental and insurance together only cost $66. The extra fee was too much and unfair.
The lady at the pick-up counter was probably having a bad day.
The car itself was fine, ran smoothly and I had no problems
Dropping off in JFK was a bit of a mess as there were too many cars being returned at the same time, and only 1 staff working (who was very hardworking)
