Renting the car was convenient, but returning it was very inconvenient. Although we were told that we could return the car after working hours, the garage was closed, causing us significant trouble in the middle of the night. I followed the instructions to return the car and received a bill with no additional charges, but my credit card was repeatedly charged at midnight for two consecutive days without any explanation or invoice. I have no idea what the charges are for, and neither Hertz nor the car rental platform have responded after a week! It feels extremely risky to authorize my credit card to them! The car was in good condition, but how can this unauthorized charge issue be resolved?
