Was not allowed to pick up the car as they would not accept my husband’s credit card, the one that paid for the car, for the deposit. I, the driver, do not have my own credit card. We had to go back to the airport and spend £103 for another car through Europcar.

Stressful experience trying to organise airport pickup to easirent site. Spent a total of 2 hours after flight landed to collect car. All attempts to get through customer service at Aberdeen easirent failed. I felt insurance was being forced upon me. Long story short, I will not be using easirent ever again. Awful start to our short break.

Everything went fine with hire but of course there just had to be someone trying to wheedle extra cash out of us on return by claiming we were responsible for non-existent or microscopic chips or other drivers’ damage! The pick up was very late and the process at the counter took longer than expected. We told them we had dinner booked and were going to be late. It was explained to us that they were training someone. The trainee was very pleasant and apologetic. Could do with a more noticeable vehicle/sinage at pick up as nearly missed it.
