The Chinese assistant helped us with the pickup, which was very convenient and fast. We specifically chose a Camry, but when we got to the store, there were not many good options for the same category. We ended up with a basic Jeep. It looked fine from the outside and had a mileage of several thousand, but the acceleration was very slow. On American highways, speeds are generally above 100 km/h, and to keep up, we had to press the gas hard, which was exhausting.

I booked a Cherokee, but they didn't have one available and refused to upgrade. After insisting, they finally gave me a low-end model that wasn't four-wheel drive.

I booked a Grand Cherokee or a similar large SUV, but ended up with a relatively new Nissan X-Trail. The Alamo staff didn't allow us to use the parked cars because they were considered a different class. Haha... Anyway, the X-Trail I got was quite new and in good condition, but it felt underpowered in the US.

The service attitude was very good, the procedures were handled quickly, and we could choose the car ourselves. We were able to get a Jeep with less than 10,000 kilometers, which was great.

You might have to wait in line for a while. However, if you're lucky, you can get a free car upgrade.
