Hertz's service has always been good. They do offer insurance and fuel options, but there's no pressure to buy them.

The staff was very nice and the handover was very smooth and simple.

The staff handled things quickly, but the car given had some dents that weren't repaired, lacked parking sensors and a rearview camera, and wasn't very clean—probably just returned by the previous user. The condition was much worse compared to a rental we had in Melbourne for a similar price, which is disappointing. You also need to report the mileage when returning the car, which is more complicated than returning in Melbourne.
