I use Avis in Europe but the car picked up in Dallas was in poor condition - holes in seats, many scratches & small dents, scuffed alloys etc. I won’t be selecting them again in the US. In fairness the pick-up and drop off process was smooth and the staff obliging.

It took ten minutes for Avis to source a suitable car for us; it was busy.
The customer service agent was extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
Hate to pay for additional, should be a way to include in the reservation payment, nevertheless I had to pay for extra insurance and toll radio tag
