I often rent cars abroad, and my Australian driver's license worked fine in Thailand. Pickup and dropoff went very smoothly. My 16-month-old daughter needed a safety seat, and a staff member at the airport suggested her friend had one that we could use for 200 THB per day, or 260 THB for a formal rental. We opted for the 200 THB option. The seat was very clean and was already installed when we picked up the car. The car itself was decent, although it had the highest mileage I've ever rented, at 40,000 kilometers, which might be common for SUVs in Thailand. Overall, the price on QEEQ was much cheaper than renting directly from the National website. Highly recommended.
