There is a dedicated building for car rentals outside Nice Airport, with several rental companies having counters inside. Europecar seems to be the most popular in France as the queue was the longest. We waited almost an hour to get our car. The staff, however, were quite friendly. Overall, we were quite satisfied.

It was off-season when we went, so there was no queue. They did offer additional insurance, but it wasn't overly pushy. After giving us the keys, there was no guidance or anyone to take us to the rental car location. The car model was changed in the end and felt somewhat smaller, but my friends decided to accept it, so we didn't push further. It wasn't a very pleasant experience.

“Presque 2h pour récupérer le véhicule et manque de clarté concernant la franchise à 0”

Nous avons attendu presque 2 heures pour récupérer notre véhicule, avec 2 enfants et étant prétendument en file "prioritaire". Aucune vérification du véhicule effectuée par EuropCar lors de sa récupération. On nous a proposé une upgrade vers un véhicule "offre spéciale super interessante": plus de 2 fois plus cher pour avoir un véhicule de catégorie supérieure: scandaleux !
