Returning the car was self-service in the early morning. You park in the designated area and fill out the mileage and return time on the form given by Hertz during pickup. Drop the form and car keys in the return box at the Hertz counter, and you're done. However, the credit card has pre-authorized $708 (total rental price for three days was $507) and the actual billing has not been processed yet since I returned the car on the 20th.
