I had already bought full insurance, but the store still tried to sell insurance. The China Merchants Bank all-currency credit card from China uses chip and magnetic stripe encryption. Due to security issues, China Merchants Bank has stopped using the magnetic stripe function, opting for chip insertion for authorization instead. This caused issues as the rental store couldn't process the card, leading to inconvenience. I suggest they implement multiple methods like pre-authorization prompting chip card insertion or using Alipay QR codes for verification.
Everything was in English. Thankfully, my husband's English is decent. The instructions were very detailed, but there was still an attempt to sell insurance.
