I paid for 4 days of rental when I booked the car. Upon pick-up, I informed them that due to a change in plans, I only needed the car for 3 days and asked if they could refund one day's payment. The rental company refused, clearly a rigid policy. I paid for 4 days but could only use the car for 3 days.

The staff's English proficiency during the car pickup and inspection was quite average. The car you get might not be the one you booked.
