Counter staff became hostile when I didn't want to purchase additional insurance (not needed as i had an annual SDCW policy). On returning the vehicle, the staff member inspected the car and found 2 minute scratches (almost invisible to the naked eye and certainly not done by me) and said that, technically, I was responsible for this as the 'damage' had not been reported when I picked up the car. She decided not to charge me as she was 'tired'. I am not an easily annoyed person, but her attitude made me very cross.
I would not use goldcar again. If you choose to do so, I would recommend inspecting thoroughly the vehicle on pickup and making sure that you report even the tiniest scratch and paint chip before accepting the car.
