1. Even though I had already reserved a compact car, the attendant kept asking if I wanted a Mercedes or another type of car.
2. The attendant told me I needed to buy third-party liability insurance. When I asked if it was mandatory, she said it was necessary, making me mistakenly believe it was required, so I ended up purchasing it for two days at an additional cost of $15 per day.
1. It took 2 hours to complete the paperwork and pick up the car. 2. The order was for a Ford Edge, but they replaced it with a Mitsubishi. The staff searched the parking lot for an hour, only to find out that the car wasn't there. They then replaced it with a Honda CRV. The car models kept getting smaller, and I wonder if the price changed as well. 3. The staff kept pushing additional insurance and delayed the processing of the car rental. Overall, very dissatisfied with this rental experience.
It was a great, hassle-free experience, given that it was my first time to rent a car in the US.
