An ABC said we arrived late and claimed our reserved model was unavailable. They wanted to charge us an extra 150 euros for an upgrade. Our English is poor, so we asked if they could speak Chinese. They said they couldn't, even though they were clearly communicating with peers in Chinese. In the end, we still got a Touran. We requested a receipt, but they said they couldn't provide one. Since we were in a rush to another city, we had no choice but to pay and take the car. It was a very unpleasant experience. PS: The store is on the second floor of the central train station, not too hard to find, but the pickup point takes some time.

Very, very dissatisfied with Europcar. On the day of pickup, they didn't inform us in advance that the store would be closed. When we arrived, we found out there were no staff working that day. After negotiating with the rental car customer service, there was no solution. I also tried contacting the airport pickup point myself but couldn't get through. After asking other rental company staff, we finally found the only place in Munich where we could pick up the car. We waited in line for over an hour, only to be told by a very unfriendly staff member that they didn't have the model I reserved. When I asked if they could contact the airport pickup point to check if it was open, they refused. In the end, I decided to go to the airport with a try-my-luck attitude. When I arrived, I found the store was indeed open, but no one had answered the phone earlier. By then, it was 4 hours past my original pickup time, and my reserved model was no longer available, so I was forced to upgrade. Although the rental car customer service said they would cover the difference, this pickup experience was terrible and made the elderly in my family very tired, greatly affecting our trip. I will never rent from Europcar again!

Returning the car at the airport store was quite convenient. However, renting a car at the central train station store was a nightmare. It took us an hour to find the store, then after completing all the formalities, we needed another hidden parking lot to get the car, which took another hour to find. Additionally, we had to complain about this: although we got a free upgrade to a larger MPV due to car unavailability, the second day after a tire blowout and switching to a spare, we reached another store in Füssen only to switch to a compact SUV. 'This car or no car,' we were told. We booked a Touran to fit five people's luggage, so imagine three people and two large suitcases squeezing into the back seat for the rest of the trip! Unforgettable.
