I rented a child seat. Due to our language barrier, they recommended insurance that includes a child seat, which was very expensive. There were no other options. Additionally, the price for a full tank of gas was inconsistent; two employees gave me different prices, which was confusing.

Counter staff very brusque when she realised I would not by extra insurance. Also added €31 for refuelling. Which was not clearn in booking details.

“We would never use goldcar again”

We were told we had to pay £50 in airport taxes but on closer inspection this was due to the car being a new diesel one - none of which we asked for. We have tried disputing this but the staff wouldn't give us a car without us paying it. We'll never use them again
