South Island Grand Tour: Queenstown, Dunedin, Return to Christchurch via East Coast

The store is quite far from the airport, and the shuttle bus to the airport only runs 5 times a day, which is not very convenient. Abell is a small company; one afternoon in Queenstown, the car wouldn't start, and I called the rental company for half an hour with no response. I had to ask the police for help eventually. Later, I finally got in touch with the rental company, and they said there was no branch in Queenstown, so no replacement car was available. However, there's a nice Chinese guy at their Christchurch branch.

Small company with chaotic management.

The second driver fee was 30 NZD for 9 days, which felt reasonable. I've heard some companies charge per day. Snow chains were 80 NZD for the 9-day period.

The car is old, no service in Chinese, the staff is impatient, and the store is too far from the airport.

The car has already driven 220,000 kilometers and the steering was off, which made driving very tiring as I had to constantly correct it.
