The reserved car was unavailable, and they gave me an older model Toyota Camry with over 75,000 miles and visible damage. I had to take photos to avoid potential disputes later. If I didn't take that car, I would have to wait, but they didn't say how long.

Due to the weakness in English among Chinese people, we often get persuaded into accepting additional services. A moment of inattention and you're trapped. Also, the rental contracts use many abbreviations, making them hard to understand.

Had to wait in line for at least half an hour. They told me my reserved car was not available and asked me to pay extra for a different car or there would be none. No complimentary upgrade was offered. Eventually, I paid an extra $15.
